Default Chopped RC4WD Cruiser (Cruiser Pick-Up)

So lately I've been hooked on scale bodies & now I've started custom work with a Lil styrene, bondo, etc. So I just wanted to show a Lil of what I've been up too.

This here is when I started thinking that I haven't seen a Cruiser Pick-Up....

So here goes.... Chop, Chop....

Got the Dremel out.....

And some Styrene....

It's coming together, nothing perfect but it's there.....

Now for some Bondo (Don't mind the Clod body, just thought I'd knock'em both out at once.....

First time messing around with this type of body work & I couldn't settle for just 1 body.....smh

Painted the inside black & threw some sand on it while wet.... (Not sure what I was thinking....lol)

Hmmmm....

Not too bad....

Almost there....

Tomorrow I'll give it a few more touch ups & we'll see the "finished" product....

Thanks, I thought about a soft top at first but then I saw a Cruiser Pick-up while searching Google for some ideas....
Been quite busy this week but this weekends a long one so I should have her ready & the final results posted by Mon. or Tues., God willing.

Finally got some things done this weekend, got the body mounted, swapped shocks out for some RC4WD 90mm Old Emu Shocks & extended the wheelbase up front with some 5mm spacers.....

Still needs electronics put in & a few other things as well....

Please don't mind the mess....lol

I was thinking the Super Swampers might look a bit too big so I tried some RC4WD Trail Busters I had laying around.....

If I'd were to keep the Trail Busters, I will definitely be mounting them on the white 6 Lugs....

What do ya think? Super Swampers or Trail Busters, which has more of the "scale" look for the Cruiser?

I think it looks just great, with these tires, as for the rims I agree with the white ones.

Rock on man. Nice work! I've also thought about the Trail Busters for mine... They look nice and scale.

Woohoo! So what do you think of the yellow OME boingers? I recently got a set for my Cruiser as well. The 70mm shocks lower it just enough to make it look right...

These are some I had laying around but the problem is they are 90mm & don't quite work for the Cruiser. I was thinking maybe putting the softest springs to have it w/ full droop (I think that's what it's called).
