I was thinking about trying 70mm kings for the rear.

Rubbin' is racin'

Looks great. The AEV type hood came out awesome. Im not a fan of Smittybuilt flares on the 1.1 rigs but for some reason they do look great on your rig.

Yeah I knew not everyone would be a fan of them. Glad you like them on my rc though.

Filled out one of those sheets Harley made.

Has anyone ran with 70mm shocks bolted directly to the frame before? Would that work well? Thoughts?

Can't help you the RC4WD shock question fr8cture. But I'm am wondering why you'd have to use a 70 mm in the rear? Isn't that going to limit the trucks total articulation?

Have a great Thanksgiving.

I think I have 65 mm shocks bolted to the frame. For what it is they work. Definitely hinders performance. On my tundra I'm just cutting the bed and putting the shocks right through the bed.

I'm not sure exactly how long the ones on my h3 are, but they are shorter.. Still spaced a bit off the frame though.

If you lean them forward a bit, I think you can cheat it a bit and get a little more travel.

Thats why I was thinking cantilever might be better I should be ale to get more travel than with a shock bolted to the frame. This body had holes cut into it for shocks but I couldnt leave it like that I had to have them filled in.

You would be surprised how much travel you can still get. I have more than useable really. It's actually pretty balanced front to rear considering.

Yeah Idk either option is about the same price so just wonder what would perform best.
