Default Fr8cture's JK8

First off this is a rebuild of R2Js JK8 build here: *River Raider inspired JK Brute* - RCCrawler

I've had this for awhile now. I ended up ditching the chassis since there is so many good options now so I'm gonna start fresh there and I sent the body off to a good buddy of mine for some changes and I should be getting it back next month so you'll have to wait to see that.

I'll be using some nice parts and quite a few from a specific vendor.

Here is what I just got right now while waiting for parts.

assembling SSD D60 axle housings modded to fit vanquish scale wraith knuckle, chubs and axial XR10 universals. I also have Holmes spools in there. Stock front gears for now and underdrive rear.

225 hubs clear!

And all together.

Here is the wheels I went with. IMO the best wheel VP has made to date.

I must agree about your comment on the VP wheels. I bought a set for my G6 and love them. Did you get the center hubs with them as well? They complete the look!

Hell, just realized I live only 5 hours from you, now that I moved to South Dakota. Still a ways, but up in your neck of the wood more or less.

New chassis......sounds interesting. I'm gathering parts for a Mog build based on a ToyZuki chassis right now.

Maybe you could figure out some sliders for it. Not sure how that's gonna work with the angled skid. I got the G10 version for mine.

Maybe so, should be getting my vendor status here in a few weeks. My chassis is one of the early proto-types, but basically the same thing.

Ahh didn't notice you didnt have your vendor star. When you get it and if interested let me know. Be alot easier with someone that owns the chassis themself.

Nice they are way better than they look in the pics. Since RPP is having a sale grabbed my tires, foams, and a few other things.

Set up a GoFund account for scale hardware. They are not optional at this point.

Used to look at hardware and think people were nuts for paying that much. Now I think it's nuts when I wear out another tool putting it on.

Agreed that pics dont do them justice. What tires will you be running? I may have missed it.
