CHASSIS

Got a start on the chassis with these parts used.

-Scx10 rails
-Scx10 skid
-SSD cms
-Howlers custom battery tray
-VP shock hoops
-Strc rear aluminum brace

TRANSMISSION

Got the transmission built up also.

-Axial steel gears
-Fast eddie bearings
-32p traxxas spur 56T

SHOCKS/LINKS

Built up the scx10 aluminum shocks and made me some suspension links using 8-32 all thread. Used the revo rod ends and 1/4" stainless steel tubing.

AXLES

With all the good reviews on these SSD axle housings, thats what is going under this jk build. Much better scale look than the axial axles.

Maybe I'm missing an inside joke here with the Land Rover,JK,Bronco names but what is this thing going to be when done? lol I figured a white bronco body was in the future when clicked in here.

Ive heard this lol, no not the bronco we know of with OJ. Will still be a jeep.

The allthread with the ss tubing to hide it and make them look like prebuilt links is great. I have lots of that tubing so please don't mind if I steal that idea for the future.

Thats k&s 1/4" stainless tube. Just in case anyone was wondering.

AXLES

Got the SSD axles built, these axles are nice. Everything fits great and better than scx10 stock axles. Installed some aluminum upgrades & steel lockers & gears.

-SSD axles
-Axial knuckles
-Axial chubs
-Axial lockouts
-Under bevel gear
-Over bevel gear
-Locked up fi spool's

Hi! I am relatively new to the custom building part of the hobby and am in the midst of building an 8x8. Did you get your stainless tube from a local hardware store, online, or somewhere else? Thanks!

CHASSIS

Got the chassis built up to a slider. Waiting on few more parts and should be rolling soon. Will be ready to figure out some electronics soon for this build.

BODY

On to the body, heres where OJ comes in, its simple, orange jeep. Painted competition orange and outlaw black. Added the VP led light bar mounts and rigid industry 6" led light bar. Will have some scale accessories added soon.
