| Land Rover Defender 130 Rhino from Russia
I present to you an interesting project that I was hooked on the technical part. The project is still at the stage of collecting the basic components and design details. In a short time, it will be ready steel frame, as always, from the profile, and I'll start the assembly of the suspension. A bit of spare parts: 1) Axles - Vaterra Ascender. 2) Portals - homemade. 3) Frame - homemade. 4) Transmission - 2x speed, from the screwdriver. 5) Wheels - due to the peculiarities of portals, wheels 2.2 / 3.0 rear of Axial EXO, width 41mm, height 108mm. 6) Drive shafts - is still unknown. 7) Transfer case - homemade, 3-shaft universal joints with rotation in different directions. Suspension - separate spring suitable diameter and rigidity / shock absorbers from TF2 without internal springs. 9) The power - is still unknown. 10) Servo - is still unknown. 11) Body - homemade, scale 1/8. Took the body out of print, I was in a hurry and try to collect on the bridges. On the surface of course huge, but they hide themselves completely in the disk (because the way and the amount of such). Gears not ready yet unfortunately, I think the New Year will be able to set the gears and shafts, and finally put the chassis on "their" wheels. Finally, yesterday, the wheels were set in place. Clearance - 53mm. Portal axles are cool !!! |
