Default Ballistic17's MattZilla Tundra Truggy

Have a new project to work on this winter. Picked up this chassis and body in the F/S section from joe.bielski. Also comes with a set of gMade shocks. Plans are Scx10 axles with Supershafty spools and Axial HD gears that I have laying around. Also have a blue VP stage 1 kit coming. I will make some custom links for it and use the DMG V2 rear truss/link mount for the rear. Thinking cms up front. It will also get a Cbercfab Juggernaut servo winch. Still need to get a trans, wheels and tires and electronics.

Here's what it looked like when Joe had it. The body will get a color change once I get it and will repowdercoat the chassis before finally assembly.

Here are some of the parts I will be running on this rig...
Vanquish Scx10 VVD V1-HD
Vp KMC 1.9 XD127 Bully clear
Slw .475 black hubs
1.9 Voodoo Klr's (blue compound) with CI foams
I already have a stage 1 kit on its way and SuperSafty spools and Axial HD gears that I will be using with stock axles.

As far as the trans I will get a HD trans from Cbercfab... Alum case and steel gears inside and a steel spur. Will run MIP's and have custom stainless links made from the Cbercfab Custom shop.

Will also have a Cbercfab Juggernaut winch custom mounted on it.

As far as electronics I am thinking Holmes Hobbies...
TrailMaster BLE Pro WP
Puller Pro BL 540 Stubby 3300kv

Servo will be a Hitec

Started on the axles. The rear is ready to go. Installed the Supershafty spool and HD gears while I swapped out the lock-outs. Started on the front also. Still need to get some vvd's and waiting on my BPC front 4 link /servo mount. Also still need to drop in the spool and HD gears.

Got the front axle finished up. BPC front link/servo mount on and cvd's installed. Also got a mini battery tray to put on the chassis.

Fount enough random links and rod ends to make a complete set of links for mock up...

Thanks. Nope not yet. Haven't put anything in yet. Still have some small things planned before I do that.

Looking at your chassis I was wondering if the howler battery tray could be modified to work
