Awesome project, I love the fact that all the fab work is 100% scale down to the cage mounts sandwiching to the tie-ins are exactly how it’s done with 1:1. Can’t wait to see more

Well hello there. It's been awhile...
I'm waiting for paint to dry so I thought I'd try and update this build. I got the cage welded together thanks to my friend. Blew apart the chassis, media blasted and painted all the stuff I made.

Last update for tonight. Chassis is final assembled and looking good. Waiting for paint to dry before prefit of the body and cage again. Alot done but twice as much to go before it's ready for electronics. Going to be running the original scale winch on this build, the legendary Quicksand.

Great looking rig so far! I was around in the early days... and remember all the OG guys building awesome trucks and pushing the limits... I've been out of the game for a few years myself and am trying to get back in... I have a 1:1 40 that I want to replicate on a old bruiser set up... thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you sir! I do recall you being around since the hey day of RCC. If you have a 1:1, you gotta have a mini me crawler. 👍

I made the front bumper out of 22ga sheet and the winch plate is 16ga.

Wow - masterful work! That is definitely one of those rigs that'd have you scratching your head if it were 1:1 or not.
