Default Rusty

Hello guys,
Is already from the start of the month that i'm working on very special rig.
it is an evolution of my friend Rat Rod, but with more performance and at least 1.0kg lighter

Homemade parts
Chassis
Links
Body
Interior
Transfer case
Wheels
Motor repro
Bumpers etc

Parts to buy
Yotas axles
Tyres
Electronics

So let's start with the pics
This is the body...

The body is moulded in a colored resin, it is made from a modified sand scorcher abs body

The frame rails are forged with a steel sheet.

This is going to look fantastic (already does). Body work looks great and that engine is killer.

laser cutter must be pretty "handy" to have around.

Tks my friends... Just love to ear this beautiful words

The body is very hard to make a repro...
You have to make a master with your body with all the holes closed, after you made a mold inside and outside...
When is finished you have the 2 parts that can be injected with the plastic resin...
Finally it looks like abs same weight but more elastic...
Resin can be colored so you can basically do with every color you wants...

Worked on the hpi trans also

Shorted and made the adapter to put a 5mm shaft..

The space are very tight here despite the pictures..
A small 45/50mm drive shaft

For a custommade by robysold an italian friedofmine :-)

This transfer case have a reduction so i can overdrive the front with every axles you want to install in your rig..

Near a flat belly..
