Dash work is INSANE! In the best way.....hope it doesn't get misconstrued in translation. Your skills are incredible. Have to give a sense of scale as it seems that at 1/8 or 1/9 is approx 23" long and about 8 -9" wide. Looks just amazing! Masterpiece Sir!

Thanks! I think I got it right, but even if not, none offence taken for insane.
Body length about 610 mm (24 inches), width 220 mm (8,6 inches).

Making comfortable seats.
Synthetic leather, which I got for the seats and door panels fortunately has the same color as the paint that I used.
I rubbed the seats with a pencil to make older.

In-freaking-credible! How awesome are those seats. Well done. Surprised you didn't add an 8 track player and a reverb unit!

I'll just go throw all my trucks away now. They're junk after looking at this.

No, don't throw away your trucks! Ignore this build, I don't know how it became like this.

Door panels.

Could you describe in more detail how you painted the body? Did you melt the wax and brush it on? Or was it rubbed on as a solid?

This is simply fantastic! I really enjoy reading the thread as a break from trucks. Great work.

Thank you!
The painting process is quite simple. Take a candle and polish the body.
Then take acrylic paint from the art store. Put the brush into the paint, then in water, the more water, the more cracks.

The spokes of an umbrella used to make the frame for the convertible top.
I think this is one of the most interesting parts.

If the unreal level of craftsmanship in the body doesn't take your breath away the interior and foldable convertible will take you out at the frigging knees, debating my own level of what is scale.... please tell us that your a special effects artist and that this is an unlimited budget scale movie car and which movie I need to get tickets to..... lots of words for me to get out when I'm truly speechless.

The whole interior is done!

The wipers got stuck years ago.

Thank you for your comments. I have some experience in the field of graphic design, but no experience of working with 1:1 scale trucks and cars. I just love to work with scale rigs, it probably started with my first Lego technic about 20 years ago, and then there was a break, and now it's turned into this. The entire build is made of cheap materials and from scrap, with the exception, perhaps, of the wheels.
