Noob's comment got me thinking, I wonder if that mold line is there because a pickup version of this body is planned. The line looks perfect for a cab back don't you think?

I believe it's merely coincidence.
Just where the tooling leaves a "parting line."

A "convenient" coincidence, indeed.

Man I'm watching this, I'm scared to look at what a spare body cost... This could be what I need to revive my stalled k30 build.

All the pieces can bought individually, the main body is like 17 bucks

Have you found a way to mount the blazer body on the scx10?

Hmm, there is probably enough space under the hood for 4 22Rs.

The spare parts can be found for relatively cheap

Haven't looked into it yet. Waiting on my axles to arrive before fitting the body.

Just a little work on the K10 today. You won't even see this with the bed in place. But I'm planning ahead in case I change directions one day.

I got the body mounts figured out and built. Kind of crappy and almost to the point of embarrassing but whatever, mud truck.

GCM motor mount and transfer case to guarantee fitment of interior.

I love the stance.

I painted the background of the grille for some better realism.

The rear shocks are limited and the fronts are cranked all the down. Not really looking for a ton of flex. I want it to be rough and bouncy.

Preview of the interior color.
