| Proline cherokee wheel base. Advice on links.
I am interested in getting some links for my scx10. I am using a cherokee body, I measured my current wheel base at roughly 11.5 inches. I'm not really seeing links that length. And I don't really have the time to make them. Any suggestions on which length links to use? Thanks! Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |

Depends on what length you want, I'm running the Lexan Proline 92 Cherokee Body which has been customized on mostly stock Axial SCX10 G6 Recon with 12" Wheel base. My lower 4 links are aluminum Axial 6x98mm which gives you a 12" wheelbase. The upper links are standard plastic ones and I have 2 different lengths they just change the drivetrain/axle angle. |

I might go with those. I'm trying to keep the tires under the wheel wells. Because I don't really want to cut off the fender flares that were molded on it. Until I can get the bolt on fender flares. Also I measured my links. And the front lowers are 5 or 6 inches, I don't remember but the rear lowers are 4 inches. I had to cut the rears down. My rig originally was an ax10. Got the frame kit and now it's an scx10. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |

I think its 115mm for the lowers and 104mm for the uppers. This might work: Axial SCX10 Dingo Aluminum 4 Link Set 290mm Hot Racing SCX290TL01 | eBay |

6x91mm lowers work for a small tire without fender flares. 6x91mm fronts and 6x98mm work good for a taller tire with bolt on fender flares if trimmed up a bit.

Proline Cherokee is a match for the Dingo chassis. I am using 91mm front and rear lowers. 85mm rear uppers and 70mm front uppers. This is using the Axial rod ends from the kit. If you use long or short rod ends, you may need to adjust your link lengths accordingly. Last edited by 58_Willys; 05-06-2016 at 01:45 PM. |

290mm(11.4") wheel base is what you need. Forgot to mention, mine is in 4-link format, without the "Y". |

I went down to my lhs and got some revo rod ends. And I also picked up some traxxas turnbuckles too. So far the rear lower links are perfect. Haven't got to the front. Thanks for all your help fellas. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |

Got the front links in. Seems to be okay for now. But I think a complete teardown is in order. And I definitely decided to go 4 link front and rear. So I'm going to order some trusses when I plan on doing the teardown. Thanks for all your help fellas Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |
