nice servo winch placement

gonna put a light bar and rock lights on it? maybe rear radiator?

do you need a 3d printed jeep 4.0 for your engine bay?

im really liking this build.

No light bar or rock lights. This will be a full on comp rig but will have stock location lights.
Radiator will be in stock location (wont have one on this build), no need for it to be out back.
Won't have any room under the hood for a scale motor. Check out my class 3 moonbuggy in the 2.2 section to get your scale engine fix.

Sorry, according to your wheel wells, this truck expired back in 2014. Automatic disqualification.

That is just a suggested use date, no one ever pay attention to expiration dates anyways.

Me too, it is sitting at 7.5 lbs rtr (battery and elecs threw on scale) right now. The front bias is awesome.

I thought the same thing in my younger day. Scoffed at the date on the milk carton one time too many... you know the rest.

that's a good method for baking the enamel paint on any small parts. how long did you leave it there for?

I once baked a fly on my Clevelands valve covers. I just left him there haha.

About 45 minutes each way. Ie, front end first, back end first. I used to use the house oven but not since we had a baby girl in Dec.

I haven't heard of that, I use VHT engine or header enamels. Depending on the paint type, bake at 200 degs from 1 -2 hours. Seems to be some of the strongest paint for R/C duties. Even better than powder coating.

sharkhide is used on boats and whatnot. put some on a rag and rub it in the bare metal. never rusts. never corrodes
