Default New Hulksta Eng. Gspot build mkII

Thought I would share this little jigger, this is sort of c2 compliant, I say sort of as the Gspot is c2 compliant but I have now added rear steer and a Hulksta Eng. skinny skid plate to it

This is NOT a comp car build, more an experiment on what you could build if you throw the rules out the window

Some thanks are in order first, with out these people this thing would NEVER have got off the ground.....

Dan from Hulksta Engineering
Greg from Mr links
110 crawlers

Specs are:

Carbon chassis
Mr Links Ti links
Xr modded axles F\R
Tekin RSpro
Hitec 7954
CC Bec
Hulksta Eng. carbon wheels
Gold KLRs or PB Growlers-undecided

Still in the putting together stage, but here are some pics of mk I, and where I am at with mk II

As you can see, pretty solid type build and worked better than I hoped.......BUT we all know if something is good, some more playing around can make it better

The crazy mk II

Hopping to have a roller tonight, but just have to wait and see what happens

I don't actually know, we don't have scales in the house

It IS light though, but not as light as it looks, the diffs are well and truly the heaviest thing in it though.......just did the old hand weight, it is lighter than an RC4wd Blazer body

Have to find my carbon braces and cut them down and it should be good to go

Lol fair enough. I ended up buying a sketchy scale from a sketchy place specifically to weigh RC parts.

We have a runner

Couple of noob mistakes, like putting a gear in the trans backwards, not checking driveshaft's movements

BUT after a slow start I managed to get everything in the rails.....the chassis is only 52mm wideand the car is almost as wide as it is long, so I expect it should crawl alright too

Wheelbase-320mm
Width tyre to tyre 280mm

Still have to mount a body some how though.

From the picture it looks like you might need a longer steering link and the link from the servo horn to knuckle to get more steering out of that setup. I think, a bit hard to tell from the pic alone.

Unless I'm looking at your rear steer?

Body is done......and it is a love or hate sort of thing it seems

Have not used it a lot, or really at all, but initial testing it is every thing I hoped for, does need a LOT of tunning and so does the goose on the radio

So far though, it has been an expensive build, BUT worth every cent
