Time to start a thread. As it is now: -JK 2dr hardbody -GCM Racing Skeleton Chassis -Mad Moose RC Scale Volvo C-Series portal axles version 2.0 -1.9 PitBull Rock Beasts w/ Crawler Innovation 2-stage foams (soft) up front & single stage in the rear -GCM 1.9 Balck Detroit Beadlocks and their scale wheel nuts -Tekin fx-R ESC (running 3S) -Tekin 30T PRO handwound motor Removed the JK's factory lenses and will be replacing them with a Axial light bucket/Turnigy High Output LED. 1. Filed the holes out slightly so the lip of the new lenses counters inks. 2. Opened up the backside, filed down and notched the Axial light bucked to make room for the Turnigy LED. I also filed out the inside posts that normally hold the Axial lens. Using a silver marker pen I painted the buckets inside for a better light return. 3. I modded the higher body post to make room for the heat sink. The front most tab of the same post will get a hole so I can screw the bucket/lens into place Last edited by THX_138; 09-18-2016 at 09:20 AM. |
