Default Planing my winter projwct

I'm going to build my self a truggy with a hilux body this winter. I'm very new to crawling but are already building and modifying my wraith.
What would you suggest using as a base? Should I look for a rc4wd Boyer chassis or maby start on a scx10 II or a trailrunner 2 maby?
