Default Throwback Sami Build

I always wanted to build a trail ranger scaler and ****ing loved pinchflat and kaetwo's take on them back in the day.

I got out of RC in 2012 and thought id never be back . . Well with the release of the scx2 and some local buddies that got back into it here I am . .

I knew I wanted to build this rig as soon as I got another scx . .the problem was finding the body .. well thanks to a member here and TeamBlueGroove that was possible.

specs on the build

SCX10.2 kit
CAC 2.0 soft 8s
Holmes puller pro xl 3500kv
Holmes BLE
savox steer servo
juggernaut servo winch with quicrun esc controller

Thanks .. I built this one out of 1/8" rod and it's super easy to work with and once it's all brazed up it actually really strong.

You might be able to still get these. This body is a teambluegroove which is a reproduction of the axial body. Look on ebay for their store.

Great build. Very nice work. It would look fantastic with one of those Reign/Pinchflat grills.

Is that the 1/8 steel rod you can buy at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.?

Yes I got the 1/8" rod from HD

I have printed out a few different grills with the intention of making my own decal but ive been to busy building rigs for some local guys. With that said I may just get one of the reign grills instead.

Picked up a set of Incision Grenades at the LHS and mounted them up . . Brought a lil new skool flavor to the old girl

These are awesome wheels for the price . . I would suggest you go get a set if your questioning it!
