1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig I've got some big boots to fill here with this build and the previous owner, i hope to finish it off and still try to maintain its awesomness. I purchased it at this phase of the build from Klaybert and he did a hell of a job on this chassis and layout. One of the best looking 406 Mog's I've seen. Here is how I recieved it and I'm stoked to get moving in it! To keep it simple: SCX CHASSIS 406 MOG BODY Scx built axles. ..only until Ottsix V2 TKO come out Custom motor mount forward Rigid Q Series lights (extra bright  ) BRXL 7T Puller brushed Wheels and tires TBD A few pics for now, http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4123&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4125&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4127&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4128&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4130&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4132&t=1 |
Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Made a gusset for the notched frame where the panhard tucks in! Added a D Ring mount to rear bumper. .. i like the loop he tig welded in on the rear bumper, will be sweet for some shifty winching techniques  Gotta do some tweaking on the front bumper next! http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4162&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4163&t=1 |

Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Been messing with the forward motor mount making some changes. It will now be a passenger side drop and have an upgraded motor plate for MUCHO stiffness. http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4268&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4270&t=1 |
Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Waiting for some parts for the chassis, so I decided to make these shocks look legit! Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Back on task! I've had a change of plan for drivetrain, I've decided to install my built Losi axles. These will fit the Mog theme better IMO. These are by far my favorite pair of axles performance wise. They are shimmed just right with HD high speed worms and XR modded front axle for crazy steering. I will be running a T-case with this setup for 2 reasons, 1- for points in C2 and 2- I will be running a reduction T-case. but it will be flipped so the input will actually drive the front axle to gain a slightly faster spin up front. The rear will remain the same ratio as it will be connected to the same gear as the feed from the motor mount...if that makes any sense. http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4277&t=1 PANHARD AXLE MOUNT http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4278&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4279&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4281&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4283&t=1 CHASSIS PANHARD MOUNT http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4284&t=1 |

Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Grabbed a few mock up shots. . I love how it is turning out! Still figuring out rear shocks Decided to go with VP Enduros with some super top secret foams in my good ol PB RB's!!!! Also ive been running the Tekin ROC412 with the Losi axles and the HD worms for a few years now on differ rigs and it is a killer setup!! Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Damn that looks killer! You were right on with the losi axles. |
Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Dang this thing is sexy. How do you like the shocks? |

Thanx I have always loved the LCC axles. They are unbeatable when they are setup correctly! |

I haven't had a chance to run this style shock yet. I've always ran the traxxas big bore with mini-t's |
Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Because of the higher shock mounting on the losi axles I've gotta build a bolt on shock tower for the rear so my shock will have some travel. http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4323&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4324&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4326&t=1 |
Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Finished fab on front bumper. Re: 1.9 C2 Mercedes scale comp rig Front motor mount in and front axle mounted up. Panhard and links all clear and articulate perfect. I'm using a SDI shaft in between and will be using them front and rear as well! Im excited to try it out with the t-case and the input side used to drive the front axle for a little added forward bite. http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4421&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4423&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4424&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4425&t=1 http://www.usca-rc.com/download/file.php?id=4427&t=1 |
