Default Heavy metal

FINALLY GOT AROUND TO BULDING THIS 8X8 ITS TAKING ME SOME TIME TO FIGURE THIS ONE OUT. THE STEERING WAS THE KICKER BUT I GOT IT AFTER ABOUT TWO DAYS ON IT USE A TAMIYA SEMI FRAME TOOK SOME LEAF SPRINGS SHORTEN THEM MADE SOME BRACKETS OUT OFF ALUMINUM. TOOK A TAMIYA GLOB LINER BODY AND CUT IT TO FIT WHAT I NEEDED AND PLASTIC WELDED OTHER PIECE TO IT TO MAKE THE SHAP IM GOING TO LEAVE THE WELDS SHOW. HAD TO USE TWO TRANFER CASES TO MAKE THE DRIVE LINE WORK CAUSE I WANTED TO KEEP IT KIND OF SHORT COULD NOT PUT A TRANS IN BETWEEN THE CENTER AXLES DRIVE SHAFT WOULDNT WORK WITH THAT SHORT OF WHEEL BASE HARD TO DO IT ON A 8X8. THE WHEEL BASE IS 17 1/2 CENTER TO CENTER TO THE OUTER AXLES. USE VANQUISH HIGH CLEARANCE KNOCKLES ON BOTH FRONT AXLES. TOOK A PIECE OF SHEET METAL AND SHAPED IT TO GET THE FORM OF THE FENDERS.HAVE TO REMOUNT THE MOTOR CAUSE I HAD TO LIFT THE FRAME UP A LITTLE SO I COULD GET MY FENDERS RIGHT. ITS GOING TO HAVE A 2 SPEED OR 3 SPEED JUST HAVE TO SEE HOW MUCH ROOM I HAVE NOW. HAD TO MAKE A SERVO MOUNT FOR THE STEERING WAS HAVING A HELL OF A TIME WITH THAT BUT I GOT IT. STILL HAVE SOME TO SOME STUFF ON THE BODY THEN PAINT IT GETTING CLOSER WITH THIS THING. I PROBABLY FORGOT SOMETHING ANY QUESTIONS JUST ASK

Amazing work on everything! Don't know where to start. Plastic welding, suspension, wheels, great build.

Wow!

I was playing at work the other day and was daydreaming about what I wish I could build next. It's crazy, you've built something amazingly close to what I daydreamed.

Amazing work. Very, very cool build.

I let it keep rolling down the hill it went back on its wheels and it was fine I had to do some adjusting on the steering but I got it fixed
