I like it! Not sure if they'd be tall enough, or if they'd be too wide, but have you looked at Proline's 2.2 Dirt Hawg I for 1/10 buggies and 1/16 revo? -Derek |

I want to tweak the tires some, or find some closer to 3.3" or 3.5"... I'd love to get a set of Boggers and shorten the diameter, but I've never done anything like that before...

got these in yesterday, I assumed the rc4wd hubs would work but no... and I don't like the way the tires look on them, so I've got to find some more, so I have to stare at these gorgeous wheels for a few days and not be able to put them on my truck. So, for anyone wondering (these are my Scale figures) the Tamiya wheels on the truck now are Scale to a 22"x20". The widest wheels in production in a 22" diameter are 16". So in theory these gear heads which are 1.5" wide are Scale to a 22"x15" which is pretty darn close... I wish there more tire sizes to choose from instead of just tread patterns. I think we could all agree on that... Like all the way down to a 3.1" tire for 1.55 wheels and 3.3" for 1.9 and 3.5" for 2.2s. ok I lied about the pics, I did a quick mock up cause I couldn't stand it... Outside pic I don't think Earlie approves. He says "Thems hipster wheels city boy! Git ye summa them thar 155s they classic, and a boat n truck ta pull behind it!" |

Made some progress, got the ess one mounted, moved the electronics and got my hubs in! Still a few more things, I wish the electronics and whatnot were a bit smaller cause there isn't much room under that cab, or bed... I'll upload a video of it running, sounds mean! I made those tires from some mud basher 1.55s. I think they look ok, just need to be a little wider, hopefully I can widen them with some foam or something.
