Default blukon's mall crawler

It's been a while but I'm back for now, I abandoned the crew cab clod since the rc4wd blazer is way more detailed and scale. I wanted to go all out and make a crew cab with the Blazer body but I figured it'd be pretty sweet to just Paint one and put it together for now. They are nearly perfect minus a couple mold marks. I'm going to do a gas monkey theme like their C10 with a cen-cal twist. 2.2 offsets and stretched 1.9 tires. It's not for everybody but I've loved it since 08 before it really caught on. Tf2 chassis, pretty much stock, I have to tweak the wb a little in the back, not gonna go crazy, I've got to find a way to mount the ess one, and work out a few other things, but it's coming along rather nicely. let me know what you guys think.

This is the color scheme I'm going for...

Can't say that I am a fan of the cen-cal look on 4x4s but I think that's the great thing about this hobby...It doesn't matter if other people like your set up as long as it works for you. The paint scheme is going to look killer tho! The nice thing about the build is you can always swap the wheel and tire combo out for more crawler function. Nice work man.

Thanks, I've always loved crawlers and Ive had a few, so I figured why not do something a little different. I just wish there were more wheel choices

Rig looks good. Sits right. Cannot get into the stretched tire thing but it's your rig

I'm not a super fan of stretched tires myself, but nothing on the market that small and wide...

Almost forgot to post the new skateboard wheels, and interior progress! I love these wheels, they have way less bs, I just wish they were about .25" narrower and the tires were about .25" wider.

can't really do anything else to the body until the clear "gasses out" for a week or so so I'm gonna try to get the interior finished and maybe pick out a driver and get everything on the chassis moved around. Thanks for the tip by the way 2Beers on the trim. I'm gonna try that out for sure, also gonna put a metal strip on the exhaust and maybe see if wifey will let me get the rc4wd v8 and "ls swap" the intake lol.

Also, does anyone know of any wider tires with the same sidewall height or lower? I know there isn't much of a cali-bro scene, but it would be nice, the stretched tires aren't cool on 1:1s since they now make 355s and 375s for the wide rims

Got the interior pretty much finished. Bare metal foil is a beach on larger areas just as I figured. I forgot I even had any until I got home and got my model box out of the closet tonight.

TIP says hello!

Skateboard wheels give it more of that mall crawler look. I like it......looks good. Good choice on that Gas Monkey Garage build color scheme.

Are you going to run a cowl on the hood?

No cowl, just gonna keep the hood stock on this one.

I got alot of progress on the "Bro-Dozier" lol. The body is mounted, interior set, dash relocated, did some bare metal foil on the outside against my better judgment and it turned out decent, even put some around the key holes(one side looks better than the other). The only thing I lack is painting my tailgate(when Hobby Lobby decides to restock the green I need), figuring out where to mount the esc, ess one, adding an interior piece to cover up the gap in front of the bed, maybe adding a headliner and visors, and some other misc stuff, and finishing the top which I probably wont use cause I like it topless! Whew that was long winded. Anywho on to some pics...

I'll lay off on the pics until I get finished, hopefully anyway... Haha i cant promise though. My wife would kill me If she saw these pics with the house a mess in them, so shhhh...

AWESOME work man! I am going against the grain here, I actually dig the stretched tires on this one! with all the chrome and polished up paint it just sets off the whole build.
