I completely agree. It's a bummer rcc is such a pain to upload videos to. I wish it was as easy as FB. I have video of just the chassis running and it did really well. Can't wait to run it with the body on.

Been doing some more detail work. Added in headlights, tail lights, and some interior touches. Managed to get everything in, painted, and wired up. The list to finish is getting smaller and smaller.

Awesome build. Love the originality. Can I suggest that you put a washer or similar on the outside of the front gear for that belt. You can see in the below pic one side is already starting to move sideways. Belts like this are used a bit in my industry and they do have a tendency to come off if nothing is there to stop them.

Thanks man. There was one and it fell off haha. I have been focusing on the body. I will fix this in the long term for sure.

Quick question. Can you show how you mounted the e revo diff? Thought it was cool and just wondering how you did it.

Best pic I have at the moment. I will need to take a couple. It basically free floats. It has the driveshaft coming from the t-case and then the shafts that go out through the swing arm to stabilize it.

Was up late again last night pushing to get it done. The front bumper is fabbed up and ready to go. Just needs paint.

I was also able to get the rear started. The real truck had the bumper held on with rivets so I will be using 3mm button heads for a similar look.

Wow. Just Wow. THAT IS FRICKIN A M A Z I N G!!!!!!! I love what you did! Definitely worth the time reading the thread! This so gets my creative juices flowing!! You are a genius with the belt drive, but that is really the only efficient way to do it.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. The belt system is really the only way it made sense to me. People genuinely thought I was crazy when I would talk about it.

It's definitely not an efficient system and eats belts like crazy, but it's pretty neat.

Well that's pretty darn unique. Nice work sir. Any thought to switching to a chain drive so it doesn't eat belts? Will you be competing with this in any events?

I used 1/4 in poplar. You can find he at pretty much any hardware store and it is pretty cheap too.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I have thought about switching to a chain, but I kinda like the belt drive. I am dialing it in and it works better and better. As for competing that is what it was built for. I will be at King of Gurus and ECSC. It will compete in c1.

I predict this will clean house in C1 and this time next year, everyone will be building 3 wheelers! I am really curious to see how well it does. Are you going to post some video?

Haha. I don't think it's going to clean house, but it definitely performs better than many would think.

I am working on loading some video. I think I am going to have to link to YouTube. Tapatalk is being a pain.
