I gotta admit, the gutter worked like a champ for the dash. Nicely done.

Tonight is fun with styrene, what do we have here ?

It is the block, jugs, heads, valve covers and pulley. Most importantly it is the mounting means to secure the motor to the rig.

Very cool. Love the homemade parts. We all need to get back to this type of building in lue of the cookie cutter 3D printed easy out.

I agree, I even have a 3d printed motor for the scorcher from shapeways but elected to try and adapt/complete this motor instead.

Chassis is finished and bead blasted, the stainless looks great IMO when left raw after bead blasting.

Just love these well thought out fabricated builds. Such creativity, and looks like it will be a very competitive rig!

What 4s batts are you going to run? I've been testing Turnigy Graphene 1300 4s' lately and will be running the same HH 2200 in a couple weeks.

I am going to give the thrust battery's a chance, Horizon has them. They are part of the e-flight line. There are a few choices, 800,1000 and 1300's caught my eye. The 1000's have the slimmest profile when lying flat, should fit under the interior nicely.

Painted all the raw steel, stainless will remain raw. Masking it off was easy, removing the tape once it stuck to itself
