I should have probably used it again on the final day, instead of the Jerpspeed. I was very impressed though. Need to do more styrene fixes, it got double smashed on it's way home. SAD FACE.

How do you like the tires? They are a good size for a future C1 build

They're good. Pretty grippy and I like the smooth profile. The treads are nicely spaced and are pretty open. Dry conditions they're spectacular, wet - don't know yet.

I've had this truck out twice in a trail/comp-esque environment and I'm constantly surprised by it's capabilities. I like to think it's partially driver skill, but I really know it comes down to the interesting weight placement and excellent chassis design by GCM. After a lot of hard driving this weekend, I'm happy to report no breakage, except for a rather weak servo (that has since been replaced) and a lot of rock rash. I spent today doing a quick refresh on the paint and preparation for next weekend's TEAM KNK TTC4. Where I can't wait to run it through the mud pit. ;) |

I was wondering if you added weight to it,it behaves just like a 1:1 vehicle. |

More photos because I like photos. Edit: These tires are worth a look. I was very surprised at their wet weather performance. And at 4.19" listed height, they are a really, really great tiny truck tire. Last edited by imthatguy; 05-29-2017 at 11:16 AM.

Forgot to update this thread with results of my poor driving at the Team KNK TTC. Yay! 29th place of some 66 trucks. Right in the middle of the field. I sucked at the Hill Climb and Trail Run, but excelled in the Tractor Pull, Mud Pit and Tank Trap. Super fun times, and the more time I have with it, the more comfortable I am driving it. Love this truck. Next up, ECSC!

29th. Not showing off and not lagging behind. I like it.

24th of 74 at ECSC. Again, not showing off, and not being terrible. For a portal-axled truck that was already top heavy, not bad. Sending it off to it's new home. Bye weird Swedish Truck! Have a nice life! |
