| Dingo Class 2
Hi It was a long time I haven't a new rig Going on a walk with protos of 5 or 6kg, it's nice, but I finish the exits with the beast that breaks me, assembled in rucksack due to breakdown The objective is to: to finish the walks :P rig is as light as possible (that's the reason of dingo body) 1.9 tires mounted To run as long as possible with a 3S 4,5Ah lipo (less than 1 hour is sad) And I don't want a urban 4x4 material choice: First idea was CF 3mm, but budget is a little high, so I prefer take 4mm alu sheet plate, less expensive Skid and front reinforcements are in 8 mm delrin For large reinforcements plates, I use 3mm Dibond (alu, PE, alu sandwich) which is really light and enough strong I've tried to do the rails with it, but it wasn't the good choice in front of rock or tree Front axle passage is raised the final version of frame, with 4mm alu Dibond for lateral reinforcements Skid delrin 8mm* Dibond lipo support rear plate For electronic parts, I want to stay on a realist scale, so I use 15kg steering servo. If it doesn't want to turn, I'll go reward, as in the real life It is mounted inside chassis rails I've found 60A continu (320 max) brushed ESC on ebay for ridiculous price (12$, included shipping) TGS LEDs bar 3S waterproof It does the job For mechanical parts, I use: Axial scx10 front axle axial scx10 gearbox with 24/87T ratio and 45T integy motor rear axle alu/steel from my workshop, with scx dif axial transmission shafts Panhard system front upper links support exactly at the right position 4mm steel rod for front links 8mm delrin for trailing arms Gmade 90mm shocks for front 130mm shocks fo rear front wheels: 2mm CF with delrin beadlocks rear: I hadn't enough screws to mount CF, so axial took place 1.9 SDI**trail doctor XL (not the best ) delrin body mount supports a small lifting of front face cover top made in old tent it's cool in a kitchen, but mud is really better lights are installed 6V plate for front and rear light and for counters 3S LEDs bar. 10 cm is enough, I believe counters and In the light of day, we can see the schnorkel See you soon for the next step; the video |

Ready to run, it weights 2732g (6.023 lbs) with 340g (0.75 lbs) for the main lipo and 50g (0.1 lb) for winch's lipo

Hi! So, after trying the ESC, it's a s**t: no power in reverse mode, no punch... It works, but it's good to be crazy Then I've changed it for a 13.5T brushless sensored and a hobbywing ESC clone, 3S 120A I've replace pinion and spur gear by 32Dp 12T pinion and 58T spur gear. I've to reverse gearbox and motor, due to the sensored motor. I've put 50% expo on Tx, no punch on ESC and this works really good Smooth low speed with torque and a really good max speed, with good response on acceleration Ready for U4 races Wheels are transformed in 3 parts, it's more "agressive" design and enlarge the tire, too thin so they dig instead of grab in soil My friend Cab has painted and given me the pilot's head A small servo will move it, mixed with steering in the future Next test on thursday |

And the last changements, before this run I have reversed steering arms and build a new part for servo link, to have ackerman effect in good way and the new steering link, behind the axle I had to grind the end of steering arms on knuckles to pass the axle's links/shocks supports. And I had changed original Chubs screws by TBHC to earn 1 or 2° |

Happy new year Wouhou!! my new scale tires are arrived, after 2 months of waiting They are just little bit bigger Rest to test them on terrain And perhaps you have noted the roll bar on the rear, fixed under the chassis. It's mounted on threaded shaft to turn freely. Really cool to not destroy chassyis and body |

Today, I'm gone have a ride I had raised the suspension because the tires were touching the body. but it's really not good. Transmission shafts have too much angle. then I decided to do some space in the body and to go down the frame And I changed the CF rims to alu, more scale it misses jeep fenders |

Hi! Some new changes, after a hard training with lot of damages A new aluminium bumper, flat with a free tube at the bottom to roll over the rocks An eye has to be replaced A new position for the winch and the servo they step back, behind the body. I returned the steering arm and now, I have a good attack angle I installed steel sliders to protect the body |
