I swapped the RC4WD XVDs in the front axle and they fit pretty well. I am really impressed how much they increased the steering angle over the stock dog bones. I consider this a must have if you have a RC4WD TF2.

Next, for a little bling and cool factor I swapped in a ARB Diff cover. These are really well machined and it went in easily.

I have purchased the helical TF2 gear sets for the axles but I am going to wait to upgrade them, I am curious how long the stock gears will last.

I wanted to keep a stock look for the front bumper so I used some 3/16" solid rod with two plates mounted to the out side of the chassis rails.

I recently purchased a Milwaukee Band Saw with a Swag Offroad table mount. This setup makes cutting metal so much easier and faster. Unlike a Dremel, the metal doesn't heat up as much when cutting metal.

I choose to mount the bumper to the slide of the chassis because limited room between the front of the axle due to my servo winch mount.

I used some spacers to create some clearance from the leaf spring mounts so leaf mount could have plenty of clearance when articulating.

Two bolts will mount the bumper on each side.

To mount the fairlead, I brazed on two small pieces of sheet metal on the back side of the bumper.

I then used my 3MM tap to created some threaded holes because room is limited on the back side of the bumper.

Here it is mounted up, I really like the fact I was able to keep the stock bumper so it looks like more of a truck you would see on the street.

I mounted a Hitec 645MG with a Heyok Winch controller on the brace that is used for the Steering servo. When I mount my winches, I try to get the winch spool as close to the bumper as I can. I am not a fan of mounting the winch farther down the chassis and using a tube to route the winch line. With the TF2 Transmission and Transfer Case setup, there wasn't a lot of room for the servo winch....but I was able to squeeze it in.

Here a few pictures from a local spot called Lake Keechelus. I am going to do a mini tear down on this rig and finishing painting stuff, I got too eager and was driving at the WARCRC SORRCA comps without finishing this truck.
