Been looking at homebrew cms mounts and thanks to a few guys on here I think I've found how I'm going to accomplish the mount.

I got a few things coming to help with finishing.

Finally selected a wheel and some austar swampers.
Blackfoot windows
A ds3218 w/ an aluminum servo horn
Got my axial parts to axialfy my front axle. Nothing cool just some no name clockable c-hubs, high steer knuckles and cheap cvds, Hot racing spool and standard ratio hd gears. That should make the axle steer and add some beef Over plastic.

Wheels I chose for this truck. Should look good once body is painted blue and black in satin flavor.

Not bad turn over for parts in the US. I got 3 of 9 today.
Windows - check
Spool - check
Hd gears - check

Rest is on the slow boat but the c-hubs and knuckles haven't showed they shipped yet and no response to my message to the seller. So hope they just forgot to update things.

Edit: got an update c-hubs and knuckles will ship Monday. And for the inconvenience they are throwing in another part. No clue what but hope its useful.

Thanks. I'm just trying to build something cool that ill enjoy driving.

I got a little more time in today. Mocked up windows besides the slight tint they look great compared to no windows.

As you can see I modified my sliders a tiny bit to get the cab back placed where it needs to be.

I found some 10 lbs double Velcro I will use to mount the cab. Two strips on each side and back of the cab and a bigger section under the hood. I really like the powershift rc cowl scoop for the clod body might pick one up and fit it to the hood if it is within reason.

Couple other bit a I got in my hour and half work.
Finished modifying the 3d printed skid lower link pockets to fit revo rod end. They weren't wide enound and not deep enough. Well now they are lol.

Also started making a new front drive shaft to use the old front as my intermittent shaft since the u-joint of the barrage shafts are smaller I have a little more room to work with.

One last thing I priced out the ampro parts (grill, headlight buckets, and interior) everything to ad that nice touch of scaleness to the blackfoot looking around $200. So might be piece that stuff together once its up and driving.

Finally found bumper that will work with the Blackfoot width and a short simple rear for the flatbed.

Well I couldn't hold back and ordered the bumpers. So I should be getting a rpp package soon. Only place that had both in stock.

Still waiting on parts. Bumper will be in hands by the time I leave work since I have parts shipped to work. Lol
Everything is slated for Saturday but wheels still tracking them and c-hubs and knuckles finally shipped out yesterday. Won't deal with that fleabay seller anymore. Still hoping I can use the mystery item that should be in that package for late shipping.

Chopped down stock front bumper

Scaler fab pre runner Rubicon front bumper

Wertymade 4" rear bumper

Nice little bumper and the plate that mounts the bumper to the chassis has some weight maybe help even things out.

Starting to look like something

This had tiny axles at one point. Also I don't know of any 4.3" 1.55s which this is being built around 4.3" tires.

Austar tsls - check
Ds3218 servo w/ double clamp servo horn - check
Axial cvd axle shafts- check

These showed up a day early still waiting on wheels and c-hubs and knuckles. Sucks waiting on parts when you got 2/3rds of what you need. At least I can get to work on my cms mount.

Beadlocks showed. very pleased with my China wheel choice. Should look good with the austar TSLs.

Now I got some work head of me. Mounting tirea, making my cms mount, finish my driveline swap.

I believe I might have to make a claim on the c-hubs and knuckles. Need to wait till the 9th to find out I hope I don't have to.

Same problem here, closest I can find are:

Here's a couple 1.9's in that range:

These look awesome and perform decent enough for the price but are too hard and suck on wet rocks.

Best suggestion on the cheap for performance at 4.3" might be a set of Gmade 1903's.

Love the Austar Swampers but wet rocks are kryptonite to those things.

Rc4wd 1.7 iroks are 4.3 and have a good rep.

Also proline non xl TSL is 4.3 and lots say it's a great all around tire in g8. Now I wonder if they will make it in the new compound.

1.7 Iroks are 4.1/104mm, 1.55's are 4.4/111mm. I'll have to check out the Proline TSL and compare performance to the Gmade 1903(4.3/109mm). I wish there were more options at 4.3, perfect scale size.

Proline 4.3 tsl in G8 compound. It came out after prolines flat irons at 4.25 were a hit.

Started work on my cms but need to remake it. I made the opening for the servo to big. Luckly I bought a 11"x17" cutting board lol. Hopefully I can get sometime tomorrow.

Another note I need wider hexes or hubs I don't think my high steer knuckles are going to clear the tires and wheels. Just guessing since they haven't shown yet.
