Default Defender D110 Crew cab

This is a slow build, havnt decided on electronics .
Ordered the body from Hong Kong, was thinking of making the chasis but
dont have the time and I got lazy!
So I ordered the chasis too.

I think he is more happy getting the box, rather than the truck.

Got some primer on just to have an idea of how it will look, while Im waiting on some parts.
Got on order some super swampers 1.9, but Im leaning to the pitbulls 1.5.

Seems to me the tyres were to small so I got some other ones, bigger ones!
This is gonna be driven and I dont want it hanging uo on every pebble in its path!

Need to do something with that center skid hanging down there, its bugging me a lot, before i go and modify it has anyone seen any mod for tucking it up. Will appreciate the info. Havnt found anything on the net.
This body has enough space underneath to clear it. Will also need to check the shaft angles after that.

Awesome build. I would really like to do something similar. Random nubie question, but what keeps the doors closed on those bodies? Again, great work on the truck.

It has magnets on the doors and magnets on the body, so when the door closes the two magnets keep it closed
Ill post a photo when I get home.
Check post 9 you can see the magnets, the second photo whith the doors open. Top left corner at the door casing. Same magnets on the door side also.

I found the chassis but where did the body kit come from? It looks like a great setup.
