Default Land Cruiser fj pickup

Hi everyone.
Had the body laying around for years on a noname crawler, never realy liked the looks of it and the way it drove.
While searching in the garage my younger son found it so we decided to build it with what we had laying around.
The body had been modified earlier I think in 2008.

Forgot to say the chasis is still in progress waiting on parts to sort out the links.
And fabricating the rear bed in progress, its a short bed.

This is up to where I have gotten so far.

Looks like a great start, I really like the weathering on the cab.

Skid plate eventually arrived, got it fitted rearanged the links, had to cut the front ones to adjust the wheel base, made a front battery tray and cut the front chasis cross bars to be same as the skid.
Next up is to make an interior, and install the electronics( wich i dont yet have all, esc on order)
Nearly forgot sprayed the axles with a clearcoat and they look much better now.

Well truck was on the back burner as the job got in the way for the last month.
Found time and ordered a motor, thinking on using a sidewinder with it.
Interior will be up next.

That's actually a sweet looking motor being chrome and all keep us updated on how it performs with the sidewinder

This motor needs to be modified to work, shaft is on the wrong side. But its super easy to do took me 10 min to modify there are videos on youtube how to do.
If you look closely its an outrunner and this beast has amazing torque at low end, look it up on youtube.
Will post a photo of mine when I get home today.

All it needs now is to grind down a notch on the shaft for the pinion grub screw.
Check out the linked video of the mod for the motor, the video isnt mine just borrowed from a friend.

Havnt posted for a long time as I had some issues with my health.
Anyway all is good now, and found my way back to try and finish some of my trucks.
Installed this outrunner motor with a sidwinder and this thing is a beast, the torque it has is just amazing.
