I thought about that but I think I'm going to go with the 4.19 tall voodoo klr m/t and see how they do.

Started to redo the bed. More trimming to come on the floor. Currently hits the shocks. Also filling some of the holes in it. Bed is from a clod body. Glad I could salvage the floor to re-use. Beats making the floor strips haha

Got it in a trade actually. The guy tossed in some of that and some styrene he had laying around. Check on McMaster-carr maybe.

Got the trans today and got it mocked up! Super excited!

Little interior work going. Never Ming the rough floor pan. It'll be covered in carpet . Next is making foot pedals and some dash details and steering wheel. And seat brackets

Just set the pinion gear mesh and holy crap what a task that was. On off on off on off about 30 times until I THINK it's right. Guess we'll see on the maiden voyage soon

Panhard mounts made. Gotta braze or tig the one onto the chassis and make the panhard and new steering links and the front suspension will be done!

Love the boom racing diff cover! It really pops under there. I have done my fair share of brazing and had welding, but I have never tig welded. Don't you just pull the trigger and the wire comes out?

Thanks! Well see if the axles hold up to the roc412 haha I also have a 3100 of I may put in but I think it'll be death to the axles.

The wire fed style welding is mig. Tig is where you have the torch in one hand and filler rod in the other. Similar to brazing but instead if a flame to heat the metal you use an arc and have shielding gas. But with how small the tab is on the chassis I think I'm just going to braze it. Since it has 3 sides contacting the chassis it should be plenty strong

Well it looks like this can be moved to the 1.55 section. New wheels and tires!
