Default My yote build

So I got this truck in a trade originally and it was set up completely wrong and was hard to look at because it was so ugly. So I ended up tearing apart my other build and threw it under this.

Here's some specs before I go any further.
Stock frame
12.3 wheelbase homemade links
King 90mm shocks
Stock housings with steel tubes f/r
Rc4wd 5 lug steelies with +9 hubs
Klr's with ci single stage foams
VP stage one kit
VP steering links
VP trans with vp motor plate and gear gaurd and metal gears

Electronics
Tekin 35thd
Sw3
Bec
Savox 1268sg

I'm open to any input. I'm gonna be building a tube bed hopefully this weekend at some point.
First pic is how I got the truck

I love yota builds. They never get old. Looking forward to progress! My old Toyota build for inspiration. Great performing little rig

Thanks I got the cage started last night by doing a basic cab hoop to build off of. I'm gonna do some rear pegs that the body will slip onto and then use the front body clips.

Looks good so far! The pegs on the back work great. You could attach a plate to the shock hoops and epoxy some neodymium magnets under the hood to eliminate visible body posts also. Just did that in a recent Chevy truggy build actually. Worked great!

I'm actually gonna eventually ditch the hoops all together and use tabs off the cage instead. It's gonna be a full truggy cage

Well a little update. Picked up a new front bumper that I'll probly end up building off of and making it into part of the cage. Just picked up a Tig welder so hopefully this weekend I get some time to work on the cage some more I have 200ft of 3/16 to burn up
