Default ecx barrage

i bought a new ecx barrage off a ebay seller. Every since i got it the stock servo has been crappy. A good servo for it is 79 bucks. i paid 159 for the truck with free shipping. I put plastic chrome beadlock wheels on it since the stock black wheels are ugly. I also took off the bumpers and lights. I didn't want to put 79 bucks in it for a better servo because i paid 159 for the truck. I ended up giving away the truck to goodwill. I'd never buy another ecx barrage. I ended up ordering a new losi night crawler 2.0. I just got it by fedex today. It is nice.

I would have paid for the shipping to my house. Not all servos are $159. A $15 metal gear from china would have had you going. What are you going to run on the 2.0?

That's pretty extreme over a bad servo. Hell, a $15-20 tactic take off from a scx10 would have got the job done...

it wasn't 159 for a servo. it was 159 for the truck with free shipping. the servo would of been 79 bucks. if i could find one that has free shipping and no taxes.

i want to get the charger and battery pack that amazon.com show when i look up lost night crawler 2.0 on amazon. i think i will pay off my loan for my truck first before i save up and buy the battery pack and charger i need for it. I got a loan from affirm to buy my night crawler. Because i didn't have enough cash. i only get 100 bucks a week from ssi. the last week of the month i get between 100 to 200 dollars. i have 5 bills to pay a month totaling over 192 a month. i get 510 a month from ssi. the affirm loan is just over 29 bucks a month for 12 months. i paid 1 payment on it already. so i just have 11 more payments to do. i might save up enough money and pay it off fast instead of waiting 11 months to pay it off. the night crawler will just be used for trail riding.

The barrage is a great scale rig. A little research would have gave you the weak point of it. The night crawler is a crawler not so much a trail rig and discontinued so parts are going to get hard to find. But sounds like you have a plan

I think the losi night crawler can wheel better than the ecx barrage.the barrage flipped many times when i tried to drive it over tall tree roots. i'm sure the losi night crawler 2.0 is not discontinued. it still is on losis website. i just checked today.

Original Nightcrawler was discontinued but 2.0 is still available (I am a dealer). The Barrage is an awesome truck for the price. Stock servo is lackluster but good metal gear servos can be had for under $25 and the stock servo is fine if you adjust the end points so you don't overtax it. It's also a great chassis for modding.

Nightcrawler is a good rig but no scaler.
