Default Another New bright build

Iv been looking through a few of the newbright builds and figured I have so many questions I'd start my own thread.
I will be using Currie rock jocks V1s, GCM cross canyon chassis, rc4wd wheels 1.9 ,pitbull tires , and a lot of other vanquish goodies. This has been my dream build for a while now.
Here is what iv gathered and done so far.
this is when I got the body .

here they are put together.

This is the look I'm going after

My favorite scale item

Mocked up just sitting on frame and tires.

I got ahead my self and painted it red after removing the bumpers and side skirts then decided to replace the fenders with aluminum RC4WD fenders. (Time to sand and repaint ) :/

The awesome fenders and limiting straps to make my shocks legal length for the class 1 ultimate scale challenge.

Haven't got them yet but thought I'd give these a try they had good reviews and they where the shortest piggybacks I could find . Plus I think they look really scale with the working piggy back.

They are a pain to get them on and in the correct spot but yes. Not a perfect fit. the plastic ones may bend a bit better to ride the front body lines tighter.

Just bought the rcmodlex jku roof rack and had him add the light bar guard. Also got a snorkel , output shaft , scale fire extinguisher, warn winch and a tough armor rear bumper with spare tire holder . Needles to say the wife is ready to slap me lol. Still waiting on the China shocks

Shocks from china made it! They look awesome and seem to be quality made. Can't wait to build them and put them to the test
The tin box took a beating on the way.

Anyone know what size drive shafts are needed for the cross canyon chassis ? I'm also trying to decide if I should go for scale drive shafts or something like MIP.

Looks great man! I am in the process of building one myself but can't seem to find the Jeep New Bright hard shell. I would really appreciate it if someone got an extra one for sale!
