Those look like optional link mounting tabs, and since you went with leaf springs, they were left over.

Going to get some paint on it this weekend either od green or camouflage of some kind and black out the chrome.

My leaf springs showed up yesterday from China so I mounted them. Then after compressing them maybe two times two sets broke. Be careful or at least mindful of how much they'll flex.

Try putting the small leaf on top of main leaf. I think it takes stress off the main leaf mounting points.looks like that is where yours broke

Looked at my leaf springs today I think the problem is the bolt in the center of the spring in your set up.Do the springs lay flat on the axle?Here are a few pics of how l have mine set up last pic is at full flex.The springs that I have are Team Raffee part number BRQ90267BK
