| From D90 to D110 pickup
The build is already done but I like to share the way I did it cause you don't see them everyday. It all started with a picture in a Landrover booklet And a little D90 First I needed to stretch out the Vaterra chassis to the lenght of a RC4WD D110. It was beyond its limits but all was done without extra parts. Only the rear shaft needed some extra attention. First cut in a perfectly good body was a pain. No way back |

First cut fixed with some 2mm plastics, no workbench, just the kitchentable Second cut at the rear, all measured up from the RC4WD D110 body That's long enough Cabin almost closed. The rear window is just a tat to big but I thought I could use a side window in there. Don't do what I did, make a smaller window. |

Thanks for the compliments. So "tarp" was the word I was looking for The tarp is there because of a quick acces to the battery. I don't like to screw the whole body loose for a fresh battery. It's made of some ribstop nylon, elastic cable and paperclips for the ty downs. |

Hi Natedog, the wheelbase is 330mm. The axles are shortened by 12mm. Jah I hope to make some pictures in Belgium. Last time I forgot to take any , just to busy driving and chatting. Tomorow there will be 253 drivers . |
