| Losi Nightcrawler Axles and CMS
Going to try building a Class 1 with an Axial chassis and the Losi NC axles. Any tips for setting up a CMS?

You'll need a panhard bar of the same length and on the same plane as your steering link to prevent bumpsteer. Also use a 4-link setup minus one of the top front links; see the following pics: |

Thanks. How would the panhard connect to the Losi axle?

Thats where it get interesting and you will have to DIY some bracket for the axle i think I do have a LCC myself i have not used for many years, so not sure what or if there are any options for CMS on those rigs/axles |

Yeah, in that particular blog he used a CMS kit from Hand Brothers Off-road which I can’t find any info about. As far as fabricating some type of bracket myself, I dunno. I think the only thing I may be able to fabricate is a paper weight.

As far as building something, this project will require custom fabricated components. If you dont think you can acomplish that I suggest looking at some more popular axles. Such as Scx10, or Scx10 2 axles. | |

| Re: Losi Nightcrawler Axles and CMS In that link to RC Truckstop, he made that old school Hand Brothers CMS kit work on those losi axles- and that’s kind of what I’m fishing around here for, methods that have been used. I can rig things up, I just don’t have the ability to weld or machine a custom C-hub. I do however have the axles and plan to make them work. Thanks.
