Default LC 70 Hybrid chassis

Had a spare chassis when I got the defender d110 sometime back, I have the axles, had the SCX10 gear box. So ordered a center transfer case from aliexpress, links and skid plate.
This one is gonna be a hybrid gelande rc4wd chassis setup with axial scx10 parts.
Got the lc70 a year ago from rcmart but never got around to building it.

That was a year ago....

This is a month back.
Chassis assembled not too much modifications involved, just drilled a couple of extra holes on the chassis also the transmision of the motor is directly bolted on the chassis in front drilled out one hole there. and thats it.
If anyone needs any additional photos with details just shoot glad to show them if i can.

Looks good. I’d like a closer look at the way you’ve got that trans bolted on.

And looking from the bottom, hope this helps
I had to drill out the front hole on the frame, then the alloy transmission is bolted on the frame only with 2 bolts and the motor just clears the body by 10mm but I had to trim some body stiffeners near the hood. I havnt drilled any holes on the trans just used the original holes as you were going to bolt it on the skid plate, only I bolted it sideways on the frame. Hope its clear.

I understand now. I’ve got a dual motor mount plate I saw for cheap years ago. I wonder if it would rotate the motor any more to center and away from the chassis.

Dont know if that can be done with the axial scx10 trans as the motor goes and sits in that curb so it can bolted on the plate. Motor isnt centered but you can distribute the weight accordingly to have a good balanced rig.
Just found that dual plate ! maybe it can be centered...
