Easy to adjust wheelbase.
Mine is sitting at 10.75 and mewalsh100 I believe his is sitting a 11.75.

I have been thinking of building a scaler Pajero based on a Barrage. Since I plan on changing the body and wheels anyway, this is a hell of a deal. Pulled the trigger!

Ordered mine. Plan is to remove the gaudy decorations, swap out the wheels and tires with cheap plastic eBay beadlocks (custom foams) and fake Super Swampers, find or mock up some better bumpers, repaint the body on the outside (so when it scrapes off it'll look like rust), upgrade the servo when it dies, and find a source for cheap metal spools to replace the junk plastic ones. ;)

I got in on the sale too!! The LHS was not happy but they had to match Horizon's price!!! 1/12 Barrage rtr same price as the 1/24.. Crazy!!!

So far I have moved the rear shock hoops forward one hole and added lead stick-on weights to the wheels. I also removed the exhaust and roll bar.

Im starting to look for wheels and tires too. Please share when you find your Chinese wheels! I found a set of four Vaterra 1.9 wheels, but still need tires. I originally wanted to change the body but I'll keep it like this for now. Now I need the Jeeper action figure hah!

Just search eBay for Austar beadlock or Austar tire and you'll find a lot of cheap options.

I just bought some austar ax4020 tsl super swamper they sit 4.3" tall for under $14 with shipping.

I had a set of tires and wheels I was going to get tsl/aluminum wheels I thought would be ok for mine they were around $53ish but found the same tires not mounted and wheels from another seller that I really liked and were a $1 more together then the combo I thought was ok.

Just got to look lots of deals can be found depending on what your looking for.

Yup i found some no name tires for less than $15 and the 4 Vaterra 1.9 wheels for $7.
