K2-3L Yeti F-650 Ok soo I have been crusing around this forum for a while now without really posting anything that interesting... That being said I am going to start a build thread on my latest truck. Its a K2-3L with An F-650 body on it. I was inspired by an article in DIESEL POWER magazine which had an F-650 decked out for serious off roading. It looked awesome so I decided to get the body and make my own "YETI" as they called it. I have been building the truck for a while now and It has gone through a stage or two without being completed or driven yet. It started it out as a silver rubicon with 2.2's, but... well, pactra window tint applied too heavily will change silver paint to off-green. I then decided to scrap the 2.2's as well and go for the more scale look of the 1.9 style. So although the truck has been mostly built for a couple of weeks now, I will start a thread anyways to post some pics of the progress and the finishing touches. I will post pics tomorrow most likely, I am going to try to finish most of the painting tonight. |

anybody know of a good chrome looking paint that will stick to the body? need something for the grill/bumpers |
Spaz Stix paint , but you have to back it with a waterbased paint to keep the chrome look ..... http://www.spazstix.com/xcart/home.php?cat=300 |
