Had a fun filled couple of hours , and am totally impressed at how good this rig is out of the box. Climbed up almost vertical lines of loose sandy rock with a bit of grass. Side hilling was OK, foams let me down, but that was the minor issue, ran for close to 40 minutes on the hills, then switched to the flats filled with crushed and broken pipe and rock, thought I lost steering after a few whoops, so walked over and found this .... Bead is still well clamped, entire sidewall ripped. I couldn’t find any rebar, so I have no clue on what happened. I’ve reached out to VP and ordered another pair. Hang up and Drive |

Glad to see and hear that it did so well. It’s too bad about the tire. I guess luckily they are in stock now. Hopefully I can get mine out this weekend for a true test. Hoping not to blow any tires! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

That's an absolutely bizarre incident with the sidewall...

I am a bashing guy, yet this broken tires never happened in my life. Could it be manufacturer defect? |

I honestly don’t think it was the tire. I’ve bashed at high speeds on limerock, endo ‘d , spun , flipped, crashed , and never had it happen before. That’s why I suspected rebar, but didn’t see any anywhere. I dunno !!! I’m going to switch to CI foams anyway, now is the time for some lil novas. Hang up and Drive |

Well as I sit and WAIT to run FLOYD , I decided to see what else was on the bench and I found a stock servo that came with my Bullyll it’s a little weaker than the Tower pro coming , but why not ! So I soldered in a HeyOK controller and dropped the servo in, reversed the line to center it, made a mount for a fairlead I had here, and screwed things in. Does look like I’m making an extension lead to work it, but no prob there. Hang up and Drive Last edited by mikemcE; 08-12-2018 at 01:21 PM. |

BOX STOCK I did add window tint to the rear windows. If I had a few more $$ I would have popped for the 3D dash and interior door panels. Go back in the thread and j posted all the interior shots, right off the sheet! Hang up and Drive | |

Dropped a couple of teeth on the pinion today, no need for speed, has a bit more drive now, will go play with my throttle curve again..... Also spaced the winch servo up a bit, bobbin was hitting the panhard end Hang up and Drive |

Saw something that didn’t look right, and I think the simple adjustment looks and works better..... Before: After: The bumper move in forwards give more rear clearance Clarence! Hang up and Drive Last edited by mikemcE; 08-19-2018 at 07:22 AM. |

Had a great run today , but did find a weakness, more front wheel weight to keep things planted when uphilling. My issue is to add weight, I need to install wider hubs, not sure I want .350 wide. Any ideas ? Hang up and Drive |

Nice build. I'm running 350 hubs on VP wheels with lilnovas & stock tires- body rub. I'm going down to 225... |

Had some time during work to play, all sorts of terrain, rocky hill, lots of loose rocks and wet sand..... Worked well if enough rock, dig trenches in sand. Trails, dirt, hills , rocks and trees, holes and loose long brush..... Very impressive, perfect match! My old standby , Riprap it was clean today and dry, had a gas!! Yes this truck really drives and doesn’t sit on any shelf long . Even a barrel roll down a hill with brush !! Hang up and Drive |

I realized most of my crashes and flips were caused by the driver. So I fired mine and a buddy Joe is helping me out. Hang up and Drive |
