Thanks yo im realy enjoying the build Its definitly differant and there will never be another one like it i realy hope it works as good as it looks Its alot of.trial and error and the suspention geomitry is gona suck the links will be very short compaired to other rigs so there will propably be alot of axle swing im not real good with the 3 link setup if nothing less im having fun building it |

I got the last of the parts ordered except the axle gears they will have to wait till next month but i should be able to finish the mock up and get the cage welded up and hopefully i can find a few items that i miss placed like a fender flair and a head rest lol but it should be up and running in a month or 2 Im debating on weather to run the silver axles or the black axles im leaning more twords black i think it will match the rig better the silver ones will probably end up on the wraith or the bomber Last edited by ferp420; 01-01-2019 at 10:02 PM. |

I messed up my parts order and only ordered 2 drive couplers instead of 4 and the price doubled so i just ordered some cheap gds shafts they seem to be holding up well in my work truck and there cheaper than 2 more drive couplers lol i got the t case installed it ended up right in the middle so im stoked on that it looks like its gona have a 12.5"wheel base there isent much room in front so mounting the panhard bar is gona be interesting but not having to triagulate the front upper links will sure be nice and should be able to gain alittle bit of clearance there the rear however is gona have a big empty space so i think im gona fab up some kinda fuel cell to hang down and maybe make up a rear skid and some exhaust for back there its just so empty it just needs something[ Last edited by ferp420; 01-09-2019 at 08:13 AM. |

I ran out of rod ends lol oh well they will be here next week its mostly a roller im still waiting for the black axles to show up so im mocking it up with the silver ones i think i ended up with more than 12 1/2 " wheel base it seems both the front and rear got pushed out a lit5le bit theres about a 1/4" more cl3arance than i n33d so maybe ill shorten the links maybe i wont The shocks are in im happy with the ride hight and no rubbing i just need to find that darn fender flair i would hate to halve to buy another body just for 1 part lol |

I figured out how to mount a spare tire wifh out modding it any more the tamiya ball end makes a great hitch and because ive got that rear stinger there i can use a rod end with a turn buckle in it to mount the spare tire to and the stinger hoop holds it perficly on the rig Last edited by ferp420; 01-27-2019 at 09:37 AM. |

I got my rod ends and got my rear links fabed up i also got the stinger on and the off road lights instaled im not sure if im gona do some bracing or not yet i need to kleen the welds up and paint it then i can start attaching stuff perminitly and then i need to get some gears in these axles and a esc in the rig and get it running then see what motor i want to run in it i want to find out what kind of gearing it has before i buy a motor for it i cant figure out how to get a shift servo in it yet ether so im gona have to shift it by hand any way a pic of the front end as of right now It looks k8nda googly in this picture lol but there it is in all its googlyness Last edited by ferp420; 01-30-2019 at 02:23 PM. |
