| Say hello to my little Amigo
Ok so I have had this body for a loooong time and was going to throw it up on ebay but I decided since I bought a K2-3s chassis from Butter that I would do a nice simple scaler. No interior or a driver or really many super scale details. Just something different to wheel around. Parts Tires Prowlers Wheels unknown (not the ones pictured) I tried some 1.55's but with the rear straight axle they wouldnt fit with the offset. TLT axles with rear straights Axial Tranny with 20t pinion and 35t motor. Axial driveshafts Modded K2-3s chassis painted flat textured black Hitech steering servo Tamiya Candy Apple Green painted Amigo body Body Chassis, links, axles, etc... One issue I ran into was that the chassis width had been narrowed from a stock K2-3s. So you can see in this pic the tranny/motor are not going to fit. I will hopefully figure out a solution tomorrow. I have a few ideas. Maybe one will work. Stay tuned... |

no! This thing is dying for more detail! I see a cage, some exo and some pretty mean bumpers going a long way on this thing!

Well I solved the tranny issue and mounted it sideways. No big deal since there will be no interior. As for wheels, I tried several types, almost settling on Integy with 0 offset but then I saw in the bottom of my wheel bin my OG Bruiser Builder aluminums!!!! Done. These wheels go perfect with the bling-ish paint. Gonna try to finish up the drive shafts and electronics tonight. And hopefully mount the body. Should be a runner soon! |

Nice. I've wanted one of those bodies for a while, but they are getting increasingly rare and $$$. Good job!
