Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 Wonder how well it’d crawl around? Link for the lazy? |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 Looks like a good trail truck, I wouldn't call it a rock crawler Sent from my LGMP450 using Tapatalk |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 Love it. IFS and leaf springs? About time someone caught on!! |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 I actually like that! Motor/tranny is cool. Good share, my friend! |

Locking diff, opening side doors. RTR or w/o electronics. Nice! |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 Very well done! Sadly it's a Ford. :ror: This probably isn't something I'd buy though. It doesn't appear to have any real world capabilities unless you stick to a dirt walking trail or asphalt. |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 H e r o It's a Hero Jato |

I’m thinking maybe some skate parking cruising and light bashing if it’ll fly right. More of a novelty piece really. Throw some slicks and high kV motor and drift it. |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 It has enough novelty appeal to me to buy it if it's priced reasonably for what it is, since it's not a Ford *it's not a Ford, it's not a Ford, it's not a Ford*. JDMODELS isn't notorious for reasonable pricing though. Any informed guesses based on existing similar offerings, Teng? This seems kind of a departure for them as they've always been (from here, at least) heavy equipment manufacturers. Must be a tiny little motor unless my perspective is skewed...for an 8.6 lb truck! |

its a Hero, get it right:ror: |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 Hmmmm... Would need to see a price but its got some potential for upgrades... No way would I comp with it (not that I do but the style of driving) but trails with a few obstacles would be fun. I mean, I took my tinytire 79 ford to proline and still had a blast. I think this would be about the same just WAY more scale. And much more pucker factor with that nice body. *lol that's the same tx I use in the first pic haha **and I would love to make the grill say NERD its pretty close already hahaha *** Anyone else notice the underside shot it's a totally different drivetrain??!? Spurless looking motor divorced transfer case... WAY different from the separate pics of the drivetrain. I dont like that sort of tom foolery. |

It did make it on Harley's Scale News Update so it must be good. ;-) |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 I bet the price will be somewhere between 1 and 2 grand. If thats the case I'm out. If its less than a vs4-10 I will be tempted. |
Re: Super scale from JDMODEL Ford F150 Obviously not a rock crawler as I don't see many real Raptors out on rocks in stock form. Would make for a great tow rig. |
