| 1.9 chevy parts bin reboot (rebuild)
So I got bored and decided to bring this rig back to life but everything is going to get rebuilt or replaced. Let’s start with some old video...( I’m sure there are some other rigs named this but at the time I just used my extra parts) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iPDuaayrA9g https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lARWbapA5vE Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by 2manyprojects; 11-12-2019 at 04:13 PM. |

Had Xr 10 mod axles and scx10 chassis and links and trans. I’m starting with a scx10 ii kit that was a mud truck and I’ll be doing progress pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Got everything off plus I’m using my 1.9 pitbull tires. Have to shorten the rear links and maybe shorten the front. Had long links for the mud truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Next was the elec. just using a Holmes esc and Rc4wd motor and castle bec. till my Holmes brushless set up gets here. Next problem was the front links had to be added to almost a 1/2 inch to match the front wheel wells and had the cage almost over the shock hoops and made it look wonky. Moved the cage back and now I have to shorten the front links back but I think it looks way better and fits better. I made the cage and sliders before on the old chassis and ssd X-ray mod axles. Body mounted. Links have not been messed with yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Bed sides. I have one clod bed side and tailgate ( can’t find the other side ) would rather use this set up so I could Bob the bed but I don’t see buying a whole body just for bed sides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Found the two lexan bed sides that came off it and may use them but can’t bob them as easy as hard plastic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
