Default Bronco hard body scaler

I picked up this sweet bronco hard body from my buddy blakeski, i am pretty excited about this truck, it will be a simple build nothin fancy but think it will be a fun little scaler when its done

this is how i got the body and i didnt like the top so i started off by makin a quick new cage for it, i will probably build another one with some more time put into it but this one will do for now

im still up in the air on chassis and tires, i have a scx chassis sittin here and axial axles, or i just worked a deal on a trail stomper chassis with leafs n trex60 axles, and i think the pits are a little big so i will have to look into some different tires maybe

Open to suggestions as im still in the planning stages with this thing!

its been a while but i have done a few things to this, i picked up a new trail stomper roller from a local member and shortened the chassis last week, and today i made the body mounts.
Now i just need to mount the electronics and make bumpers, oh and decide if i wanna leave the body painted this way or sand it all down and make it pretty again

and not for sure yet but this may have to get moved to the 1.5 section, but i just got some 1.9 tsl's and im gonna see how they fit

Good looking rig, I think it's screaming for a set of 1.55 rock stompers!

Oh, and I think you should sand her down and make her pretty again!

The new cage looks good. The older proline sx tires look good on it. If you can lower the body and over drive the from that thing will go anywhere.

From the looks of it I would guess that it is a old radio shack bronco mangler body. They did these a while back and they pop up on flee bay once and a while.

That's a pretty cool body, never seen it before. Nice job on the tube work, looks really clean and simple, love it. What tranny is that you are using?
