Couple more rear axle shots. Awesome thing about portals, you can flip the diff to run low pinion but it's still up out of the way.

Nice work. I have a set of High Altitude portal axles sitting here waiting for a moon buggy chassis.

Lets see the front axle and how you did the steering

Looks great so far. But a custom rig had better eat a stock rig from a big name company!

Thanks now get building that Moon buggy!

As for the front on this I kept it simple with a UCfab ar44 servo on axle mount.
This will have dig soon and I prefer 4 link front for dig just for the extra strength.

Thanks and it will be hard to out-do a Capra, with some mild shock tuning and weight in all the right spots the Capra is quite capable for a "Stock" vehicle.

There was to much space in the rear so I had this little 1/14 scale Air cooled Porsche motor with twins and since so many WE Rock buggies run quick boost turbos now days I thought this was appropriate.

It looks a bit small in there but it's all for fun!

I really like the new build DPD. Don’t take this negative but that power plant is way to small for this build. Get one 3d printed in proper proportions. The build is worthy

Thanks man it may yet get a front portal, but I'm holding off to see how I like the overdrive with only portal rear.

Thanks B-clip and yes this motor was intended for another build but for now till I can find something i like.... I do have a 22re sitting here but it's way too big almost 1/8 scale. I'm on the hunt.

It’s a custom built rig so it will always beat a capra.

There’s always something special about builds that take this much time and effort to build.
