Thanks gents.

I was looking at it today. Its hopelessly to empty up front.
Will grab some black abs sometime for some inner fenders and make a radiator for behind the winch.

Finally got round to make a plan with the empty nose. Some abs and cable ties and its not as empty anymore.

Its running really good except for the horrible noise that the gearbox makes. Horrible. Plastic.
It will get replaced eventually. Axles are as good as HG’s get, added CVD’s and SCX10 knuckles on the front.

On to some pics..
And yes, I got lazy and didn’t spray any of the bare alu. Don’t feel like it.

I’ll sort out some sort of winch control later on...

There’s a sway bar hidden behind the rear axle.

Body stretches onto two pins as per the Gelande way.

Hinges forward for access.

Cheap 35t motor and 1040.

Battery tray and dodgy electronics ‘tray’

The servo seems quite cool for the price.

Hope the DIY body and ‘cage’ holds up.

Light bar still needs some power.

And the Lucky full flex shot.

I’ll use this as a loaner for friends. The radio is a Volatex 2ch I stole off my FY03.

Cheers! Built that body to learn how to do it. Sat around for long and its on a platform to be used. Its cheap and cheerful but fun to drive.

Great looking little truck....
Especially like the exo cage and the rod end to flip the body

Might have to copy that

Cheers!

Got some Rough Country lookalike shackles for the front.

I still don’t know about these Rock Beasts. They might be braking in still, but I’m not sold om them anymore. They are better than the chyrax though. Will see still. Summer is coming and maybe they need it to be 30+ degrees/c to work...
