Gmade R1 x Axial Capra project

I like Gmade R1 compact platform but its axle is poor durability and it’s difficult to maintain conditions on Lipo 3s/4s running.
So I decided to replace it to Capra axle. Now I’m waiting for its arrival.

I also need some body work to stretch front nose. I’m preparing aluminium panel.

My plan:
Chassis / Gmade R1
Axle / Axial Capra
Transmission / rc4wd 2 speed trans
Esc / Mamba X
Motor / Castle 2850kv
Battery / 4S Lipo
4WS

Final gear: 1st 70-80. 2nd 20-25

Capra portal axle has just arrived.
Grand clearance is super!
Fitting to Gmade R1 chassis is not so bad but I need make some modification..

I have installed 2 speed transmission.
Working is on processing slowly.

How can something be so ugly and yet so cool at the same time

It looks like something you would see in a star wars movie like it was built from left over space ship parts and then put some tires under it lol that's a hard look to make look good

It needs lightsabers and a droid bot and some big arse laser guns in my opinion anyway
