pinched front grill options?

Looking to do my first pinched and dovetailed body. I see the Clod is a popular option but I'm leaning more toward a Toyota build.

I've seen a 3D printed grills from the Crawl space. Are there any other options out there?

Thanks!

If you are going with a Tamiya hardbody Toyota Hilux, you can always buy the Tamiya front grill and cut it down to size.

You can also build a scratch styrene grill to match pinched front. Or combine styrene with the tamiya grill to make it work.

That's my ideas anyways, hope that helps.

Thanks brother. I was actually looking around my spare parts bins and found a nice piece of carbon fiber. I think it’s enough to do a grill and tailgate. I love the Hilux but I may do a cold body for my first attempt. It’s more square and might be easier to work with for my first attempt.

So, challenge accepted. . I ordered the Toyota Hilux cab so I could try to do a pinched front and grill. I am interested to see how hard it will be. Was only $20.00, so that is a cheap coupke days worth of entertainment for me.

It should arrive Monday, so hopefully Tuesday(ish) I'll start a thread of the progression. This is just a fun challenge for me.
