This is build is a perfect blend of parts and color. It just looks so nice on so many levels. Deceptively simple looking. I want one.

These RCspeedy chassis are amazing! I can't get over how scale the welds are. The bump stops just top off the scale ness!!! Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk |

Very nice - you added a lot of really cool details to an already awesome frame. |

Thanks for all the kind comments guys Can't fault the chassis so far. I've had some big tumbles and the chassis has taken it like a champ, no damage whatsoever. I've been doing a little bit more work on it, just waiting for a few parts to come in then I'll post an update

Found these interesting negative pressure shocks on AliExpress, they were pretty cheap so thought I’d give them a go To be fair they work really well and are silky smooth, big upgrade to my previous shocks Also fitted my hood and made some decals, blacked out the grill and removed the lenses from the lights. New wheels and nuts too. |

Whoa.... Seriously nice rig! Got a link to the shocks - or at least an easy name to search for them with? |

Thanks Here's a link to the shock... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001...d39b5e40JcoWdA The two parts of the shock are not connected together (fluid wise). Essentially 2 shocks on one mount, one standard shock and one adjustable damper. Mine came pre filled and work great out of the box. I bought mine purely based on looks/novelty factor, I wasnt expecting great performace from cheap shocks but so far so good.

Many thanks! I've got a second Bomber-based build in the queue... Xtreme Racing carbon fiber chassis rails - needs shocks, these could fit the bill! |

Love it! They are building my chassis now, can't wait. This build was what made me choose to pull the trigger on the chassis. Great job on the details! |

Mat, the rig is amazing, really great, I love the custom touches. What's your assessment of the performance compared to the Capra??

Thanks Jim, The stock Capra will always perform better because of the weight of the chassis. The reason I chose to convert mine was, I was a bit underwhelmed with the performance of the Capra. I'd probably been spoilt by my comp crawlers mind. I loved the look of this chassis when I first saw it so it was a no brainer for me. It might be more challenging to drive than the Capra but that can be just as much fun

Couple of questions: How did you mount your headlights? I ordered mine without because I had some that would fit. Did your chassis have mounting tabs for them? Also, would you mind sharing the print file for your mirrors? Those look so cool and help complete the look. Thanks!

Hi, The headlights are a snug push fit, nothing holding mine in but the laws of friction! lol No mounting tabs for lights on my chassis. Here's the link to the file for the mirrors https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4641826
