Default G-Speed Rigs Only

I’m looking to start getting parts together for a class 2 gspeed build. It’s going to be a v3 with element trans and shocks with Trx4 axles with a f350 body with some creative cutting to clear 4.75 tires

Supershafty Fall Crawl...managed to pull 3rd place in class 2. Happy as can be with that result for an event of that caliber. It was my first time on courses like that, they're more like west coast courses. The truck worked fantastic and pulled lines that many couldn't. Loose nut behind the wheel still needs more tuning

Figured I should add my G-Speed build to the ever-deepening G-Speed thread. This is an Element Enduro conversion. More specifically, a modified Trailwalker. I used the Gspd carbon steel chassis rails on this one.

HW Quicrun 1080
Stock 16T Reedy 5 slot motor
El Cheapo DS3218 Servo
Gmade Steelies
Proline KM3
Crawler Innovations Single Stage Foams

I will let the pics do the rest of the talking outside of saying that is definitely my best performing Enduro on the rocks. Beyond that, while the LCG while maybe less critical it allows me to be more care-free over the more uneven trail terrain. It performs as advertised. I will build up another G-Speed chassis at some point, no doubt.

More can be seen in my Enduro thread here : smogs Elements

Well I stepped away from a gspeed rig to go run a Sherpa some months ago.. the Sherpa is gone now and I’ve got all the parts in route to build a pretty wild blue carbon v3 chassis… stay tuned

Right on Indy, I’m looking forward to seeing your build come together. There’s nothing wrong with the Sherpa, I especially love the way it looks but I really did not love it on ar45p’s like I did the v3. Swapped it to d44 straights and it was enjoyable but I’m excited to be back on the gspeed bus

Been good Bams! Having a lot of fun with the local squad the last couple months. You’ve been killing it with your builds lately, nice work

My Phoenix f10s will be under some (red) v3 rails as well soon enough, but just the axles over here. I’ll be following along your VFD twin adaptation

Default G-Speed Rigs Only

Well I was going to wait until I got this thing running but it’s going to be mid to late next week until I get my crawlmaster mini and a servo mount from DRED so I figured what the hell.

Anyways here we go
Gspeed V3 in blue carbon, the pics do this thing ZERO justice. It’s super subtle but when the light hits it.. man it looks good.
Capra axles, rear converted for 4ws
Tgh 2.low transmission and Tgh wheels with punks 3D custom carbon bead lock rings. Rolling on proline trenchers
Incision driveshafts
Hardcore rc stainless links, 12.5” wheelbase, these things are hard to beat. Dravtech shorts set at full droop.
I’ll be running a pair of Holmes shv800’s 1800kv revolver powered by a crawlmaster mini.
Picked up the cliffhanger body from Twade and I’ve got some bumpers from IERC coming to finish it off.

That thing came together really nice!

I don’t think I would have done anything differently myself, not bad for basically a “spare parts” build haha

Thanks man, I’m pretty stoked on it. It’s really different than just about anything else I’ve built. Can’t wait to put it to the test.

100% my impression. I really like how clean and simple this build is.

I may have to build a low weight rock oriented crawler. Your setup here has me inspired. Sadly I don’t have local terrain to do it justice, but man that look is the tits!

@Fricker08 Nice build!!!

This is very close to what I have planned right now. I am jealous you have your rails…I pre-ordered some blue rails as well but the USPS has them bouncing around the entire west coast before they want to get them to me for some reason. They were originally expected to arrive last Saturday not sure when they are showing up now?

Hey thanks guys, I can’t wait for my bumpers and the last little bits to show. It’s going to set it off.
Smog, I can’t stop staring at this thing. Definitely one my favorite rigs I’ve built. It’s just got a killer look.
Tbuggy, man that’s a bummer. Hope they show up sooner than later. I couldn’t help myself but to order another set with the Black Friday code. What 30% I think? Not sure what the plan is for those yet
